What a kick ass documentary. Brought back many great memories. It still amazes me how much skateboards and punk rock have influenced me as an adult. Do any of you remember when the great Skateboarder magazine morphed into the not so great, in fact pathetic, Action Now rag back in about 1981? I remember thinking, what is the roller skating fag doing on the same cover as Black Flag. What is the guy on a Huffy BMX bike doing in the same magazine as Duane Peters? It was all very confusing, but without those really bad business decision by some guy, who was probably taking orders from the CEO at Val Surf, skateboarding survived. I guess everything happens for a reason and luckily for us DP survived as well.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Its called "Who Cares" and yes you can get it at skateboard shops. Heres black labels website, www.blacklabelskates.com but they just have their products up for the wholesale buyers.Originally posted by Indulgence27:
I have been wanting to see this. Is it titled "Unchained" or something like that. I had no idea that it was distributed through Black Label. I assume I may be able to get it at a skate shop.
Glenn, I'm sorry you had to miss it. There was more issues than baby Clash getting sick, although he just got his first tooth on the road and very fussy towards the end. The biggest reason was money troubles, with gas prices being so high, the charter busses being so expensive, some of the shows not drawing, and a huge dillema with one of their largest sponsors (Juice magazine who was also trying to freeze the funds that Lost was providing them), they ran out of money. With the hurricane on its way and the baby sick, it wasnt really worth it for them to push forward...we'll see how much they decide to put on the documentary. I havent looked on the Juice magazine website, but from what I hear there are some pretty harsh allegations against Duane and a lawsuit involved. Supposedly its based on a lot of lies, so I never bothered reading the drama of it all.

Erica, thanks for posting that link to the website. i really got a kick out of all those candid photos. I finally caught Lords of Dogtown the other night. Watch the featurettes on the DVD. It talks about Lance Mountain doing a lot of the skateboard action shots.
